Just because she is beautiful!

Look at my wonderful baby!! Isn't she absolutely beautiful???? She loves to be all nice and cozy when she sleeps.

Oh my gosh - We got snow!!

I have officially seen snow! It hasn't snowed like this here in 30 years. We got somewhere around 10 inches. The kids had a blast in it..... oh yeah, and Jeff too! He worked from home that day and they decided to let him off for a little while so that he could work a little later. This is how he spent his afternoon. He had it about 3/4 of the way done and then the kids got excited and helped him a little.

This is one very tall snowman! It was about 7 feet tall! Daulton promptly came home from work that night and kicked it down. He just couldn't help himself!

Logan really did it this time

Well, the other night I could hear Logan start crying - that cry that only a mother knows... a hurt cry. I didn't think much of it and went in to see what was wrong. Damien was holding him and bringing him toward my room where I was. I could see blood all over Logan, on Damien's shirt, and dripping all over the floor. I brought him in to lay him on the bed and looked down only to see a huge gash in his lip. Oh no, a trip to the ER????? It was snowing here - it hasn't snowed here like this in 30 yrs. Well, after looking at it, Jeff and I decided that we could probably not go the ER and just get him some popcicles and clean it real well. Here he is the next day....

Poor guy!! He was crawling across the dining room bench and slipped. He sure does wince when I put medicine on it.

Just a few new pictures

He had been drinking kool-aid out of a bowl like a dog. He also hadn't had a nap that day. I'm thinking he was tired!! It must be really tough pretending to be a dog!

Isn't Lexi one of the prettiest little girls you've ever seen??? I'm such a proud momma (and her daddy kinda likes her too).

This is her CRAZY EYES look!

The cushion in the middle is what was on my chairs before. I had already recovered them with vinyl material twice before, but the kids/dogs kept ripping the chairs. I had gone to duct taping them and several of the seats were done that way. Talk about trashy!! Anyway, so I got the idea to put wood on the chairs - duh!! So we went and got some cabinet grade plywood and Jeff cut/routered the wood. I stained them and Jeff put them on for me. Isn't he handy? I love them and they look great. As everything else in my house needs to be - they are wipeable!!

Daulton had his wisdom teeth cut out a few weeks ago. Everyone was just amazed that he was awake and only had "laughing gas". It wasn't even really a big deal and he did fine. I was awake for mine, but I had mine pulled. Here is a funny picture of him though.

Just a few funny things that happened in the last few days

Jeff says I should blog about this. If you are easily grossed out, then don't read this one.

I was sitting on my bed eating the other day. Lucas(5) comes in and announces that he needs to go poop (like he always does - someone has to wipe his butt). Dylan(8) was in there too. Well Lucas goes in and leaves the door open (the bathroom is attached to my bedroom - remember, I am eating at this point). Well, Lucas has this habit of talking to himself (or someone that noone else sees) while he is pooping. Sometimes he sings, sometimes he talks (and if you know Lucas, you know that anything that child does is done LOUDLY).

Anyway, all of a sudden he goes "OHHHHH, that was a BIIIIIG one momma." I promptly told him that I could do without that as I was trying to eat. He said, "What???? I was just telling you how BIIIIIG it was!!" Meanwhile, Dylan is laughing hysterically!! That made my lunch sooo much better, let me tell ya.

The next one. Anyone that knows Daulton(16) knows that he does not suffer from any sort of self esteem issues. He is handsome and he knows it.

I had gone to lunch with a friend the other day and was relaying a story to Daulton that I had told her. There is this little girl that likes Daulton - and he kinda likes her too. I was talking to him about whether he had kissed her or not. He had not, so I asked him if he felt she wanted to. He was like, "Well, look at me mom. Who WOULDN'T want to kiss me???" So my friend makes a comment about how he really thinks highly of himself. I told him that she said this and he said, "Mom, the world could go on without me..... but it is a MUCH better place with me!" Yeah, nothing wrong with that boy's self esteem.
